About Me

I'm a Software Engineer and Team Lead building systems that deliver real impact. I specialise in cloud infrastructure, backend development, CI/CD, and microservice architectures on AWS, giving me a full lifecycle view of software development.

Currently working at Accenture, I lead a team designing and operating large-scale microservice applications. I improve system reliability, scalability, and performance while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.

Personal Projects

Although the bulk of my work sits in private repositories, here are a few projects that I have worked on to refine my skills, and build things that I wanted to build:

ACE - GenAI Chatbot

As a side-of-desk project, I built a WhatsApp-based AI chatbot for the Accenture graduate programme applicants, simplifying a typically confusing application process and providing instant information to tens of thousands of prospective graduates.

This is a GenAI-powered, event-driven application built using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock), integrated with WhatsApp via Vonage.

RIP.ie Alternative

As any Irish person will know, RIP.ie is a vital part of Irish culture. Seeing as they now charge for the service, I have created an alternative. This site has not been deployed anywhere (at least not yet...)

This is a full-stack application built with NextJS & TailwindCSS, Node.js and MongoDB.

WeHelpWildlife

This is a React Native mobile application built to help wildlife rescue volunteers with the WeHelpWildlife charity organisation manage their operations.

This app was built as part of my Final Year Project at university, for which I received a First Class Honours. Click the 'Details' button below to get more info.

House Pricing Model

With house prices constantly fluctuating, predicting the value of a property can be challenging. This project uses machine learning to predict the price of a house based on a number of key features.

This is a Python project built using the Scikit-Learn library.
